Capture the Magic
CALL ME BOO BOO
In 1998 when Queen City Ballroom was just an idea, founders Dana Glandon and Tony Prado found a scraggly grey cat sheltering itself under a bush near the shores of Lake Wylie.
One day, they noticed that he had a nasty cut over his eye. They gave him a little attention and doctored his infection. Six hundred dollars later, the studio owned a mascot! Since that day in 1998, Bush Kitty went through every phase of Queen City Ballroom's history with us. Tragically, Bush Kitty left us in 2015 after a long 18 year life of happiness and love. We miss him so much.
Bush Kitty was playmate, entertainer, dance critic, food sampler and friend to any and all who would give him a little bit of attention.
These pictures show you the many years of joy and fun that can only be experienced with a cat named BUSH!
Best friends... so hard to find.
No "two left feet" about it. Even our mascot loved Ballroom Latin and Salsa Dance Lessons in Charlotte, NC
