Congratulations to Felipe Gonzalez, who was recently promoted to Director of Staff Relations! Felipe specializes in International Latin and has won several titles in his division. Felipe continues to bring prestige to QCB through his dedication to his students and through his many contributions to his youth dance foundation. Visiting Coaches from February 18th to February 28th

	On February 18th, United States Standard Finalist and US representative in the World Standard Chamionships, Erminio Stefano will be in Queen City Ballroom offering training.
	World Exhibition Champion Michael Chapman is coming to QCB Tuesday, February 26th. Micheal is world renowned for his choreography, and has created routines for such famous dancers as Karina Smirrnoff from the hit T.V show “Dancing with the Stars.”
	On February 27th and 28th, Yana Blinova will visit Queen City Ballroom to offer her expertise. Yana Blinova has appeared in the T.V show “Dancing with the Stars” as an assistant choreographer for four seasons. Currently, Yana and Yegor represent the United States in professional Latin.

World Exhibition and Rhythm Champion Coming to Queen City Ballroom

Ana Llorente, World Rhythm Champion and Blackpool Finalist, is coming to Queen City Ballroom to train, coach and provide choreography. Ana is in high demand all over the world. This world class dancer not only holds a world champion title, but also has starred in many music videos and movies such as Will Smith’s “Welcome to Miami” MTV Video Clip and Dirty Dancing 2. Ana has been on countless world tours and shows and has traveled all over the world. Ana arrives at Queen City Ballroom February 5th, so book a lesson fast!

Queen City Ballroom’s favorite Standard Couple Andrea Zaramella and Kristie Simmonds are the new 2013 UK Rising Star Professional Ballroom Champions. The Professional Rising Star Ballroom event was danced witih over 161 couples. Seven were called to the final round. Iin the end, Andrea and Kristie won the title. It was the first competition in the Professional field for them as they turned Professional two weeks earlier.

Tickets are now on sale for Queen City Ballroom’s winter showcase. “Fire & Ice” is a one-night only production on Saturday, February 9th at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center’s Booth Playhouse stage.
“Fire & Ice” promises to be Queen City Ballroom’s most astounding performance yet, incorporating a variety of dances, theatrical performances, and special effects to inspire and delight the audience. This spectacular event will be a night to remember.
